Hailing from Taos, New Mexico, Alexandra came to Salem to attend Willamette University in 2006. She graduated in 2010 with a degree in Environmental Science, and having worked with FSELC during her academic career, was delighted to join the organization in July 2010. At Willamette, she participated in the Willamette Science Outreach Program which connects Willamette science students with elementary students in Salem's public schools, as well as with Tokyo International University of America as a tutor for international students. She spent a semester in Granada, Spain and is certified in Advanced Level Spanish. She has danced in various forms since she was five, and loves playing the piano, working with kids, traveling, and drinking tea.

Our Board is made up of an Executive Committee that is assisted by a Board of 
Directors. The board is supported by the work and input of an Education 
Committee, a Finance & Development Committee, a Marketing & Outreach 
Committee, and a Facilities Committee.
